BrunchIf you're feeling peckish around 11am in Torrevieja, there's some great places to get your brunch fix in this charming corner of the Costa Blanca.

Whether your perfect brunch features oozing mountains of smoked salmon and poached egg, or you're a full English traditionalist, nothing sets you up for a day of fun and relaxation quite like a long, indulgent brunch. Some people are all about pancakes, for others Prosecco is the beating heart of brunch. Whatever your brunching style, these Torrevieja brunch spots will tick all of your boxes...

1) La Crème Creperie

Do you often wake up with a sweet tooth to satisfy? La Crème Creperie is the place for you. Open from 10am on weekends and 9am on weekdays (excluding Tuesday), this sugary spot serves up delicious, artisanal handmade crepes (and plenty of savory options, including omelettes too). Stack your waffles, crepes and tortillas with all sorts of delicious toppings including custard, caramel, crumbled cookies, fresh fruit and ice cream, or pick a tasty savory crepe full of local ham and cheese.

2) Tedi

Located on the corner of Calle Orihuela and Calle Bilbao, this humble little cafe is beloved of locals and those who have stumbled across it. Tedi's Spanish tostada is so tasty it can sell out on busy days, but don't worry, the yummy tarts and cakes on offer are equally scrumptious (make sure you try the rhubarb or frangipani options).

3) McGill's Bar & Restaurant

Want to start your day with a taste of home? McGill's is a local institution in Torrevieja, and will well and truly see to all of your brunching needs. From "The Full McGill's" and the "McGill's Vegetarian", to the melt-in-the-mouth scones (complete with lashings of jam and cream), there are British brunching options a-plenty to be enjoyed here. The cosy setting and friendly staff are also worth writing home about.

4) La Andaluza

Set on a pretty plaza under the shade of big umbrellas, this stylish little black and white restaurant is a great spot for breakfast (you might even want to come back for kobe steak or tempting tapas in the evening too)! From salmon and eggs, to yummy pastries, there's a very good brunch menu to tuck into here. It also happens to serve what many believe to be the best coffee in Torrevieja - very reasonably priced at just €1.40.
